Photovoltaic systems allow to transform, directly and instantly, the energy of solar radiation into electricity without the use of any fuel.

Generating electricity does not require virtually maintenance, does not harm the environment and offer the advantage of being “tailor made” according to the actual needs of the user.

The fundamental component of this conversion is the photovoltaic cell, a thin plate of semiconductor material and small.

Photovoltaic cells are connected in series to form a robust and manageable structure called photovoltaic module.

Photovoltaic panels are connected in series and are interfaced with an Inverter, an electronic device that converts incoming DC power from the alternating current photovoltaic field to make it immediately available to households.

In order to optimize production, the solar panels must be oriented as far as possible towards the direction of the geographic South and with a tilted angle to the optimum ground (this varies according to the geographic location of the installation).

A photovoltaic plant can be designed to be isolated from the electricity grid and to accumulate the energy produced inside the batteries (Stand Alone), connected to the national grid for input and remuneration of the produced and unused energy (Grid Connected) or, with the current technological innovation, you can choose to install a “hybrid” system that combines these two characteristics, where the energy produced by the plant is stored in the batteries and, when fully charged, the extra energy is poured into the electricity grid to be remunerated (Storage).
